Juniper berries are added in plum brandy and left to mature in oak barrel in a cellar at optimal temperature. Distilled of ripe Williams pear, most appreciated in the Balkans because of its high sugar content and good aroma. The fruit is smashed and left to ferment. Fruity ingredients must be preserved during the distilling process.

Destilerija Zaric Nirvana Pear is our special brandy made of pear, having a very rich fragrance and taste. It is produced from the most valued pear cultivar, „viljamovka“ containing a high percentage of sugar and very little acid, therefore its aromatic matters are fully exposed. One bottle of brandy is produced from 8-10 kilograms of pears. Brandy is stored exclusively in innox containers where it undergoes its aging process since wooden barrels would violate its fragrance. The aroma and the taste of the pears are so well preserved that it really feels like you have a piece of Williams pear in your mouth while drinking it. It is characterized by an extremely long aftertaste.

Quince is a very aromatic fruit used for the production of brandy of an extraordinary flavour. “Nostalgija” is produced from ripe, sweet and aromatic fruits. One litre of brandy is produced from 16 kg of this fruit. Selected and sufficiently ripe fruits with a higher content of sugar are used in the production process. Fruit chops are further chopped by a mill and as such, with the addition of yeast strain selection enter the process of the controlled fermentation. The distillation process starts immediately after fermentation to preserve the natural flavour.
